The Concatenatio (Latin for "The Connection") is a fraudulent business corporation originating from Switzerland. The company generates its illicit funds through legal-like activities such as insurance fraud, valuable cargo, forgery, and law control.

The Concatenatio features in Grand Theft Auto: Gangland.

History

1990s

The Concatenatio was founded in December 1997 by Alessandro Vivaldi, a honored member of the Camorra secret society from Campania, Italy. The company was founded as a way to conceal and legitimise the Camorra's black market network, and it thrived alongside their trading partners for the next few years. In the eyes of the general public, they were simply an independent freight company that dealt with shipping and trading, despite the fact that their true cargo was stolen valuable freight such as high-end vehicles. For the next sixteen years, Vivaldi and other key members, such as newly appointed under-boss Stuart Walker, would operate unhindered from their headquarters in Switzerland.

2010s

In 2013, police applied pressure to the company after sensitive information was leaked publicly by an unknown source. Following increased scrutiny by Swiss authorities and a tip from an anonymous source within Swiss police, the corporation quickly extradited itself to Stuart Walker's home country of New Zealand. The corporation swiftly resumed public operations under a brand new and inconspicuous partnership title known as the "Golden Triangle,"' but the company was only able to recover 38% of its equity and stocks before it was frozen.

After falsifying reports and committing fraudulent expenditures, as well as buying out multiple dying mom-and-pop freighting companies, the Golden Triangle was born as a Frankenstein-esque powerhouse company. With this new front, they began dominating the inwards and outwards goods freight forwarding circuits of New Zealand and quickly began re-amassing their losses of capital using cutthroat and underhanded tactics. To keep inconspicuous, their marketing team published that they were a Hong Kong-owned company, diverting the public eye from their true origins.

2020s

The Concatenatio is a well-connected, efficient privately-owned freight company ranked fourth in New Zealand's 2020 Freight and Logistics Stock Market.

In August of 2020, the Concatenatio decided to split their assets into multiple companies in case they had to liquidate themselves once again. Securing false growth capital, they introduced new shareholders, Augury Insurance, secretly run by Dianne Summers of the Midnight Society, and SINO, a freighting front for the 12S Triad. Concatenatio would still continue to retain 87% shareholding in the Golden Triangle company, though they are now more protected from liquidation, as well as the bonus of growing stronger ties with their allies.
