Albert Meursault's Trailer

The trailer which introduced the third of four protagonists was released on August 30th, 2013. The trailer style, excluding the rating screen and title screen, is shown entirely in La Nouvelle Vague, used as homage to French Neo-noir. The theme that is playing as the backing track is "day 1" by mura masa, selected for the ambient rainfall effects, chill tone, and vibe that encaptures Albert Meursault's personality.

"The world is meaningless.

There is no God or gods, there are no morals, only remnants of herd mentalities.

The concept of “you” is nonexistent, therefore, you cannot find yourself.

Do not try to "find yourself", you must make yourself.
Out of chromosomes, play dough, Beethoven and smart phones.

Remember that nothing you do has any significance beyond that with which imbue it.

Meaninglessness is vain, but fight anyway, in spite of and because of its hollowness.

The world may be empty of meaning, but it is a blank canvas on which to paint meanings of your own.

I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul. Live meaningfully. And be free. Or don’t...

I'm talking to myself again..."
