Field Operations Division
This patrol zone is in charge of West New Peachtree.
This patrol zone is in charge of North New Peachtree.

This patrol zone is in charge of Downtown-Midtown New Peachtree.
This patrol zone is in charge of East New Peachtree.
This unit patrols the New Peachtree's international airport.
Special Operations Section
The Special Operations Section is commanded by a Major. Its several units provide a variety of functions to support the patrol zones.
The Tactical Team specializes in tactical entries as well as hostage situations, barricaded gunman situations, and bomb disposal.
The Motors Unit enforces traffic laws and manages the flow of traffic as well as the school crossing guard program.
Hit and Run Unit
The Hit and Run Unit investigates fatal and hit-and-run traffic accidents.
The Helicopter Unit assists patrol units by providing support during foot and vehicle pursuits and stolen vehicle recovery, among its other functions.
DUI Task Force
The DUI Task Force enforces impaired driving laws and traffic offenses related to impaired drivers.
Mounted Patrol is used for providing a highly visible police presence and dispersing crowds when necessary.
Special Events Permits Unit
The Special Events Permits Unit handles permits for street closures and large gatherings.
Commercial Vehicle Unit
The Commercial Vehicle Unit enforces commercial vehicle laws and is responsible for commercial vehicle drug interdiction.
Criminal Investigations Division
Executive Protection Unit
The Executive Protection Unit is comprised of highly trained and skilled officers who provide security for government officials. They work closely with state and federal agencies.
Special Enforcement Section
The Special Enforcment Section provides narcotics, technology, and homeland security enforcement. It is commanded by a Major.
Homeland Security Unit
The Homeland Security Unit investigates information on criminal activity that poses a threat to the community.
Cyber Crimes Unit
The Cyber Crimes Unit investigates computer-related crime.
The Gang Squad investigates gang activity and monitors offenders that carry firearms during the commissions of crimes.
The Intelligence Squad monitors organized crime.
Narcotics Enforcement Unit
The Narcotics Enforcement Unit investigates all forms of drug activity.
License and Permits Unit
The License and Permits Unit investigates applicants for a variety of licenses, most notably liquor licenses.
The Vice Unit investigates all forms of vice activities involving liquor, drugs, prostitution, and gambling.
Major Crimes Section
The Major Crimes Section investigates follow-up criminal investigations.
The Homicide Unit is in charge of all death investigations in the city of New Peachtree.
General Investigations Unit
The General Investigations Unit is responsible for preliminary investigation of crimes against persons and property, except for homicide and sexual assault.
Missing Persons Unit
The Missing Persons Unit investigates all missing adults in the city of New Peachtree.
Special Victims Unit
The Special Victims Unit investigates rapes and other sexual assaults as well as child exploitation, abuse, and neglect. They also investigate missing juveniles.
Central Investigations Unit
The Central Investigations Unit is responsible for follow-up investigations with the Commercial Robbery Unit, Auto Theft Task Force, Major Fraud Unit, and Pawn Desk.
Commercial Robbery Unit
The Commercial Robbery Unit investigates robberies of commercial or retail businesses.
Auto Theft Task Force
The Auto Theft Task Force targets the theft and recovery of vehicles.
Major Fraud Unit
The Major Fraud Unit investigates investigates forgery, identity theft, fraud, credit or check transactions, and embezzlement.
The Pawn Desk assists officers and investigators in locating stolen property and identifying offenders.
School Detectives Unit
The School Detectives Unit provides crime prevention, law enforcement, and related services to the schools of New Peachtree.
NPPD officers wear uniforms consisting of navy blue jackets over their uniforms with their gold badge in the front and long navy blue pants. NPPD officers also have a navy blue cap. NPPD stations can be found in the following places:
The NPPD's main patrol vehicle is the Vapid Interceptor; the agency is in the process of phasing out their old Vapid Stanier cruisers. The Maverick police helicopter is used, as well.
The New Peachtree Police Department's cars have a navy blue and red livery. The cars read "NEW PEACHTREE POLICE" on each front door, as well as on the push bumper.
The standard issue handgun of the NPPD is the Glock 22 Gen4, chambered in .40 S&W. All patrol cars are also equipped with 12-gauge Remington Model 870 Police Magnum shotguns. Officers of the Tactical Team are equipped with the Glock 21 Gen4, chambered in .45 ACP, as their sidearm. Their primary weapons include the FN Herstal P90, chambered in 5.7x28mm; the Colt R0635, chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum; the Colt R6001 semi-automatic carbine, chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO; the Colt M16A1, chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO; and lastly, the Remington Model 870 Police Magnum 12-gauge shotgun.
