Ireland is a country mentioned in the Grand Theft Auto Fanon series. Though no games are based there, a lot has been learned from it's mentions.
From what it seems, it is very much like it's real-world counterpart, it is separated into Northern and Southern Ireland, Northern Ireland is a part of the United Kingdom, whereas the Southern half is the Republic of Ireland, an Irish Republican Army is in effect, alongside an Ulster Volunteer Force.
